Chinchilla breeders are extremely hard to find anywhere you go but finding one in England is near impossible! So what do you do? well you can sit around waiting for a miracle breeder to pop up but you may be waiting a long time if you are in the south east so try a pet store! Now why do i say this, its obvious isnt it? Well not necessarily because chinchilla's may be unkind sperated from mates, ill or pregnant if got from a petstore so always check they have seen a vet and take them to one after purchase!

Finding a vet! Another hard thing to do because they have to have experience with chinchilla's first. question them on the knowledge you do have or even check if they have a book to help or internet acess. Your best choice would be to get a tropical vet they are great! But you must trust your vet because so many vets lie that they know what they are doing and have experienced chinchilla's before so just check! What if i cant find a vet? Dont fear! keep checking and some people never need a vet. Maybe you should check if there is a good vet near you before purchasing a chinchilla! Then you always know they will be there when you need help!
